Warum auch? Vor einigen Wochen gab es die unsaegliche Schlagzeile “Cam sold Juelz to DefJam for 2 million”, was eigentlich bedeutet, dass DefJam Juelz aus seinem Vertrag mit Cam (Chef von Diplomat Records) heraus gekauft hat. Also doch kein moderner Sklavenhandel.

MTV News hat sich Juelz geschnappt um mal zu hoeren, was hinter den Kulissen abgelaufen ist. Interessant hier, dass Cam Features fuer Juelz verhindert hat, aber boese ist Santana ihm nicht dafuer:

Over the past few years, Juelz has tried to make guest appearances on some of his peers’ songs, but he said Cam wouldn’t clear the collaborations. In some cases, such as a Nike commercial and Chris Brown’s “Run It!,” the head of the Dipset sued the people Santana worked with for compensation.

Despite the business gripes, Santana still speaks fondly of Cam and yells “Dipset for life” consistently. “I have no hard feelings towards Cam,” he explained.
